Unremarkable Scan

Those are the words of the radiologist. The take away point is that they can't see any reason for my hip to hurt. There's no cancer, there's no evidence of arthritis or anything else for that matter. I'm relieved it isn't cancer, but now I've got to figure out how to fix it. I'm wondering if it isn't my bodies reaction to Herceptin or perhaps just a hold over from chemo. Who knows, I'm just relieved it isn't more cancer!

  1. Thanks for both recent posts.

Great news on the scan front; what a huge relief to learn that there is no indication of cancer in the hip. Whew! I hope that you are able to figure out the source of your hip pain. Shoe heels worn in or out?

I hope the oophorectomy goes smoothly as expected. But emotionally, it is a whole other story, to say the very least. As per usual, you present the situation with humor (does remind me of an of old Gary Larson cartoon featuring a pre-vet conversation between a cat and a dog!) and candor, as well. This will be emotionally difficult; there are no two ways about it. Well, I will be thinking of you this week.

    Take care.

    Love, Jane

  2. Glad to hear the scan showed nothing! Since it involves one hip, I'm thinking not anything you ingest. Maybe a walking/sitting/standing habit type of thing, or shoes, as mentioned. Sherlock skills required :)
Sending healing thoughts your way, especially on Thursday. The oophorectomy should go smoothly, and you'll soon be feeling fine! Love and hugs to both of you! xoxo P&A
