My mouth is back to normal and I can eat anything (and I have been eating everything!). I'm pretty sore since my innards were shuffled, but it's manageable and I've even taken a couple walks with Red and Keith today. I'm on heavy duty ibuprofen and, thankfully, haven't needed the "big gun" pain killers.
Looking forward to a relaxing and slow weekend!
Great to hear things are improving on the eating front. You need to keep up your strength to heal. And it's always good to avoid the 'big guns' if you can. Hope you can take off a few days from school to recoup.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you both. love, Ellen
Eileen definately keep the strength up. I have read the blogs and appreciate how much of a fighter and researcher you are. What ever paths you go down I am sure will be well informed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Keith and you. Stay strong Beanie!
ReplyDeleteThis is great news (I hope you are giving an honest report (smile)!). Seriously, I hope that you did have a relaxing and comfortable weekend. Yes, here's to any easy week!
ReplyDeleteTake care.
Love, Jane
Thanks for the updates on the blog. I hope you're on the mend by now. It must be good to have a potential site for cancer removed, but difficult just the same. Hope this marks a turning point, allowing for the cancer focus to be put behind you for a good long time. You and Keith are amazing and deserve some good, relaxing times now! love, S, L, & N
