Eileen was moved out of icu and is doing pretty well. she's been sitting up most of the day (it's somewhat challenging to find a comfortable position). took a short walk down the hall. talked to the surgeon and he says everything went well.
Thanks Keith for keeping us posted. Amazing that Eileen had the strength to sit all day and even go for a walk. I'd think she'd be exhausted. Glad the surgeon is pleased with how things went - hope Eileen improve each day. Love, Ellen

I am sure that Eileen is a number of exits away from Normal Street (serious quotations are required) but it sounds like she is going in the right direction. I hope that you see even additional improvement tomorrow.

I can imagine that it would be hard to find a comfortable position when you've had surgery on the back of your head. Hoping that she'll be more comfortable now that she's out of ICU and that the recovery continues well. love, Sheila
