In other news, Keith is SICK with a nasty cold. He's tired, he's got a cough and a slight fever. My fingers are all crossed that I don't get this! Who would have thought that the one not getting chemo would get sick first!?!?

Progress!
I had a quick appointment with my breast surgeon today. He did a quick ultra-sound to see how the chemo is working (ultra-sounds are a cheap way to check on things, unlike the $6000 PET CT)). The first good sign was he couldn't feel the lump! Yippee! He managed to find it with the ultra-sound, but it is WAY smaller (instead of 3-4 cm it is .3-.8cm depending on the angle). Good news!

Wonderful News! The chemo must be doing its job, Eileen--GREAT! We're so happy! :) As for poor Keefie, we feel bad. Push liquids, and take it easy as you can--ya, hey, pye golly, you'll be better in no time. Lots of love coming your way from the UP :) xoxoP & A
ReplyDeleteHOOORAY! Best news I've heard all week. I hope you both get some rest this weekend.
ReplyDeleteWay to go chemo chemicals!! That's wonderful, Eileen! Hope Keith starts feeling better soon. Coming down with a cold's not surprising given the stress you both have been under. I understand Cold FX Daily Defence works well for some folks - it's just ginsing so might be OK with all the other stuff you're got going on. Hope you avoid the cold! Love, Sheila
ReplyDeleteExcellent!!!! I am so happy to hear your news. And, you are not half-way through!! I hope that Keith is feeling better soon and that you don't catch the cold.
ReplyDeleteTake good care,
Jane
Eileen,
ReplyDeleteWHAT GREAT NEWS!! Time to celebrate! What a relief that all you've gone through is doing the trick. Congrats to you and the Chemicals.
Give Keith lots of vitamin C & D and lots of rest too. Good chicken soup or Miso should do the trick.
love, Ellen
