Made it to Work!

It was a little touch and go this morning but I went to work. I was ridiculously tired but not nauseated and not feeling worried about diarrhea. It worked out fine. These last couple days are pretty easy for me, just show up and proctor exams from here on out. I hate to jinx myself, but I think I'll be able to make it. *knock-on-wood*

Keith is back in town and it's great to see him. It sounds like his mom is hanging in there. She got out of ICU yesterday and now she's in the step-down unit so that's a step in the right direction.

  2. Good for you! Glad that you were feeling relatively good and were able to make it to school on Mon, and hope that you continue to feel relatively good through Wed (your last day of Tykerb?). I can imagine that you must be very tired - your body's dealing with a lot. While I'm pleased to learn that Keith's mom is out of the ICU, I'm hoping that she will experience some real improvement so that she and the family can start to have hope that this long, bad patch will end. Thinking of both of you, love, Sheila

  4. This is great news!! Wow, what a difference than last time. Happy Day 5! Congrats on finishing round 2 and another school year! Festivities are definitely in order!

I hope that Days 4 & 5 were equally easy (using the word in a very loose and relative sense!).

Also, I hope Keith's mom is doing well.

    Love, Jane

  5. Hi Eileen, Thank you for keeping us all so informed. I am still praying on a daily basis and am so glad that this second round was more manageable for you. Hang in there, lady. You are a winner! Love from Claudia (Mom and Meg's friend)

  6. Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning how to dance in the rain...Eileen, I hope Keith and you are finding the time to dance. Glad the second round of treatment went better for you.

  7. Eileen,
Great to read through the last three posts - you're great at keeping us all up-dated. Last week flew by for me. Great to hear that you made it through round two with relative ease. Congratulations! Now with school over and Keith back, hope you two can have some time for fun and relaxation. Happy Summer vacation! love, ellen
