Thanks for the update! I am happy to hear that you are at home! I hope that the two of you are able to take it easy and get some rest. You have been through the ringer, to say the very least.
Wonderful to hear you're home, Eileen. One, just to be home, and two, I'm assuming that means that you didn't experience any nasty side effects from the chemo. Yaay! I'm sure that there were lots of welcoming barks, tail wags and purring going on. Sleep well tonight. Both of you must be exhausted. love, Sheila
So glad to hear your home Eileen! I've just read your blog entries since last Wednesday as I've been away. Wow, you and Keith have been through an awful lot in the last 4 days. Wish I were close by and could be of some help. You're amazing Eileen, having the energy to get all the details about your treatments - good for you! So sorry to hear of your sleep-deprived night and the rough treatment from the neurosurgeon. Being at home is SO much better! Sending lots of love, gentle hugs and good wishes for some uneventful restful days, Kate & Doug
Well, I just read the entries from the last few weeks. Geez, Eileen what hell it has been, I hardly know what to say. I know these entries are moments in what must be long days, but I'm in awe of how you and Keith are handling it all. We're thinking of you and hope you're getting lots of healing rest. Kari and Gen
Ditto to all of the above..... so glad you were able to come home yesterday, that your first chemo went ok. There's nothing like home when you're not feeling good!! Hope you are comfortable so you can rest, sleep, and heal from your surgery, and have a good visit with your mom. Take good care. Love, ann
Glad your home... rest and enjoy the time with mom. “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
What a trail you have made! Enjoy a good book.. Thoughts are with you!
